You think you know, but you have NO idea....
"You don't talk about longevity, you just do it because longevity is a matter of fate; it's a matter of eventuality. We are a culture that is now so aware of how things work because we've had a certain experience now with bands, with culture, with pop music, with pop culture, that we all want to talk about longevity and what causes it. There's only one thing that makes longevity and that's longevity. I'm amazed at how often people say, 'You're here to stay. You're gonna be here in ten years.' How do you know? You don't. Ten years will tell you..."
and it's me blogging! I swear, my life feels so damn chaotic when I don't write on here. The myspace blog just does not have the same feel. This is my baby. I guess I should stop being so damn lazy and get back into the swing of things so here goes...
Of course I'm back in the Buff, loving every minute of it. This year has been pretty amazing so far. For Fall Fest 2006 Sean Paul was the headliner. His Holiness the Dalai Lama started our Distinguished Speakers for the year. There was a lot of preparation for him and I think it turned out to be very sucessful. UB's Football stadium will never be that filled unless Bill Clinton makes an appearance. This weekend Anderson Cooper will be speaking and I'm really sad that I won't be able to make it, and I'll tell you why later. Al Gore will be closing out the series. The environmental kids are pretty pumped for that lol. And speaking of UB Football, the boys have won 2 games this year! Oh yeah! Well my position was deleted in my club and I was promoted to VP of Membership which I'm not the least upset about. You cant expect me to plan an event for over 5000 people and start up in September. Wasn't gonna happen ok.
As for classes, I did end up getting into Anatomy which I'm really content with. Im also taking Calc, Statistics, and World Civilizations I. I love my schedule and my teachers are amazing. My stats professor is mad cool and I won 5 dollars on like the second day of class. I made my schedule for next semester and its going to a toughie. I will be taking Chem 2, Physics 2, Physiology and ES of Human Movement. I'm really pissed because the physics labs are all full! WTF?!? UB If you're gonna have a labs with these sciences, it would make sense to make sure that they equal the spots of the lectures. It's not freaking rocket science. My job is amazing. I'm a manager in the Student Union and it's quite the experience. I've met so many people and I'm establishing a ton of connections. This weekend we'll be heading off to Geneva for a conference which is why I'll be missing A-Coop
.
And now I know that part you've all been waiting for...my love life...or lack there of lol. No its actually kinda bittersweet right now. I've been talking with *Marky Mark* a lot lately and can you believe he finally asked for my number and he called me amazing! Of course it involves food, because he wants to make a trip to the Anchor Bar but when he comes up he asked me to join him! I'm really excited. If he doesnt make it by thanksgiving I'm def going to pay him a visit at the hospital. Nothing would make my day more than seeing his cute face again
. 2 years people! Of course this all takes place when I've had my eye on a certain gentlemen here at UB. This guy happens to be a good friend of my roomate and can I just tell you, I really like this guy! He's focused, hardworking, really outgoing, and extremely sexy. But you know me and how nervous I get around certain prospects of the opposite sex. But hey, he thinks I'm cute so I know there's something there. But I'm actually starting to come out of my shell the more I'm around him so I will keep you posted on what goes on there
.
So can I just tell you that I'm feeling really relieved right now. I miss my blog. I'm gonna have to switch gears and come back to this one. Well I must go to bed now. And I hope you like the update to my previous post lol. Goodnight!
