The wonders of Myspace...

  • Mood:
  • Music: "Dreams" by Gavin DeGraw
There's this website/network called Myspace and I joined it about a year ago. Let me just tell you, when I first joined it, it was still kinda new so it was like really boring. Now it seems like the whole world is on there! It's freaking awesome. There's this nonprofit organization out of California called The Young Americans. They are like really amazing. For the longest time I was sure I was going to audition, hopefully be picked and move out to Cali to start my life as a YA. You can ask anyone! I was freaking obsessed and I still really am. Back in October, instead of spending my first Halloween weekend here at UB, I decided I wanted to go home just so I could go the YA show. The show consists of of 2 parts. The first part being the Young Americans show, and the second part is when the YA's join with the elementary through the high schoolers for a show. It's really amazing. I did the show my sophmore year and I was on high for over a year from it. I honestly loved it. Even if you just watch it, you'll really love what they do and teach the kids they work with. I think that's why I really wanted to be a YA. Having the opportunity to grow on these kids has to be the greatest feeling in the world. If given the chance, I would def give up UB to be a YA anyday! But if you wanna know more information about this amazing organization, check them out here The Young Americans.

But I totally got away from the point of Myspace. LOL so anyway there's this guy named Heath who was a YA when I first saw the show back in middle school. He's the funniest guy and I had a major crush on him! But anyway I was watching Desperate Housewives and he was actually on the pilot episode. He was a waiter! I was really shocked because I actually remembered him! So I was searching through current and old members of the YA's and I came across his! I think this is the most amazing thing in the world lol. I also came across Tom's, who was also in the show with Heath. Tom was hillarious too! He actually does casting for America's Next Top Model. Isnt that amazing! He also worked on Simon Cowell's show "Cupid" a few years back. I also came across Mike's who I used to talk to all the time! He's such a sweetheart! Being able to see what all these peeps are up to is the best. They're all working hard to make their dreams come true and they're doing an amazing job.

So yeah Myspace is pretty great. Facebook is really addicting too but not everyone can go on Facebook lol so Myspace fills that gap. Well thats all for tonite. If you wanna check out photos of my life at UB check them out here: My Webshots.

Have a nice night everyone, and remember ~*Always Follow Your Dreams*~

0 Look at the love!.
