You think you know, but you have NO idea....
"You don't talk about longevity, you just do it because longevity is a matter of fate; it's a matter of eventuality. We are a culture that is now so aware of how things work because we've had a certain experience now with bands, with culture, with pop music, with pop culture, that we all want to talk about longevity and what causes it. There's only one thing that makes longevity and that's longevity. I'm amazed at how often people say, 'You're here to stay. You're gonna be here in ten years.' How do you know? You don't. Ten years will tell you..."
Wow so today was defiently a good day. This week I'm in the ER and it's been pretty cool this year. Today I was with a nurse named Rhonda and she's so cool. She was dragging me every where with her asking me to get this and that and do this and that. It was defiently cool. I got to help discharge a patient and wheel them out to their car and I helped prepare an IV bag. That was defiently the coolest part. But the highlight of the hospital today was before I went out on rotation. I was walking out of the class room and as I turned the corner Marky Mark was getting up and starting to walk toward the register. As he was walking all of a sudden, out of no where he runs into the table. LOL there was like no one walking toward him or anything. That table tore his leg up. I started laughing so hard along with a ton of other people but because he was facing me I think he saw that I saw him even though I turned my head real quick. OMG I was laughing so hard I had water in my eyes. It's just the fact that he ran into the table with no one around him and the cafeteria was so busy today. And it made like a huge thud and yelled like ow or something. But he was laughing too so its all good
.
So today I volunteered up in PT again. Today it was so busy. I always feel like Im in the way but Tom is really cool about it and takes me every where he goes. Today I got to help out a bit more. I got like towels and stuff for the ultra sound, changed the pillow cases, helped with the patients put equipment away and basically anything that I could do to help. I'm so glad that Pete allowed me to come in because I'm really starting to see a lot of things and he's so cool. Last week he scared the crap out of me though because there was only one patient in and she had a heating pad on so everyone was just chillin out. Anyway he came up behind me and took one of the walking sticks and slapped it on the table. OMG I just about had a heartattack. He started laughing so hard and asked what I was doing. I was like just waiting until some more patients came in. Holly crap he scared me lol. But he apologized and said everything was cool. Those therapists I tell ya. But anyway when I was waiting for my momma you wouldnt believe who I ran into again. Marky Mark! LOL I think it's a sign you guys
. Man he's cute!
So anyway I came home, ate dinner, read about 20 pages in Bonesetters Daughter and passed out only to wake up at 8:30 and realize I still have a shit load of homework to do. Yeah so I better get at that huh. Ill talk to you later. Peace.
